Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Ilan Bracha demonstrated early in life a flair for people pleasing and a talent for entrepreneurial leadership. He served as a Commander in the Israeli Army and traveled extensively around the world. After taking numerous seminars and training in the areas of business and real estate, he moved to New York in 1996.

Having worked in a series of diverse jobs, Bracha worked his way up to foreman of a moving company. He published the magazine “All about Moving and Storage” and received a letter of recommendation from the New York Better Business Bureau for his efforts in educating the public in this regard. At this time he met his mentor, Louis Kaye of MLBKaye International Realty, who urged him to get his real estate license and to join his company. After a successful 5 years with MLBK, Ilan was offered a position of Executive Vice President at Prudential Douglas Elliman where, with his consummate professionalism and warm demeanor, he quickly became the president of his own luxury sales team, The Bracha Group.

He now specializes in the selling, marketing, and pre-development planning of high-end luxury condominiums in Manhattan. His proactive approach to sales and marketing as well as his emphasis on honesty and loyalty, have been the foundation of his success.  As the youngest Managing Director in the history of Prudential Douglas Elliman, Ilan was named the 2^nd Highest Producer at PDE in 2005 and 2006 and was the honored with the Most Sales Transactions and Most Sales Exclusives Award.  The Bracha Group has been one of the top producing groups at Prudential Douglas Elliman for the past three years and The Wall Street Journal, lore Magazine and REAL Trends named The Bracha Group as one of the top 50 real estate teams in the country by sales volume. Experienced with over 500 transactions a year, Ilan and his team provide the full scope of residential brokerage and marketing services to both renowned and first-time developers as well as individual buyers and sellers. 

Ilan’s confidence and rapid decision making are ideal for the unmatched speed of New York real estate development, but it is his hands-on attitude that earned him the trust of clients as well as brokers.  Ilan believes that, more than giving a client a place to live or a second home, he is providing them with stability.  Through real estate he works with his clients to create a passive income that is greater than their expenses.  Even when he is representing top-end luxury condominiums like The Heritage, Ilan is always accessible and personable.  It is these qualities that have won him respect and propelled him to success.

At 34 years old, Ilan is the youngest Managing Director at Prudential Douglas Elliman.  He is living happily on the Westside of New York City with his wife and three small children.
